The Lauderdale County Enterprise was started in 1885 and is celebrating more than 134 years of publication. Local newspaper covering all of Lauderdale County.

It has been located at its current location on East Jackson since 1969.

Okay teachers and parents....we need your Santa letters...so far we only have three teachers to respond....if we don't have your kid's letter to Santa....we can not print them, so let your child's teacher know that we need ALL letters before December 13th.....anything after that will not be published....sorry but to get printed, that paper has to be printed a week earlier than the actual paper.....thanks for your help! Okay folks.....if the winter weather arrives as ice and/or snow....The Lauderdale County Enterprise will be closed....our staff will be working from home Tuesday to get the paper to the printer....If we can make it to the office Wednesday, we will get the paper mailed out and then close till Monday, February 6th....we appreciate your kindness and understanding. No one wants me on icy roads and I don't want to even try! My motto is better safe than in a hospital!

Well....as much as it angers me....the newspaper will be delayed again this week....the company that prints our paper has had printer issues again!!!

Sorry folks, but due to a COVID outbreak (and no I don't have it), but the office will be closing early Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday this week (which the office is already closed on Fridays, but wanted to make sure everyone knows it is closed) As far as next week, the office door might be locked and limit the number in the office so we can spray everything down for the safety of us and the customers.....Thanks for your assistance and support in fighting this latest Covid virus!

Okay folks, due to a scheduling conflict...The Enterprise will close at 11:30 a.m. today and will re-open Monday! (The office is closed on Fridays)....Sorry, but our family members are important! But if you need to drop something off, we have the black box by the door that is secure and locked! Or send us an email at [email protected], we check that often....

Okay folks, just a friendly reminder....if you get a call from the Enterprise, and the caller is not Beverly or Sandra, or Charity, then it ain't us...just got a call at the office, I answered and the lady said she was from the Enterprise and was asking about our business and what she could do to advertise for us....well, lady, you got a lot to learn, but she did not fare well with me!
So if your phone rings and it is not us, then hang up! Don't give out any of your business info to anyone!!!

Okay folks, schedules have caused a problem for us girls!!! So, the office will have to close Thursday and will be open on Monday, Feb. 21st....sorry for any problems, but if you have anything to drop off, just use the secure drop box and we will check it over the weekend!

Okay folks, it seems that someone has tried to hack our email and is sending out invoices and it is a scam....we do not send out invoices by email...if you got an email about an invoice please don't open it....thanks, and sorry! We have changed the password to the account so maybe the hacker will move on to someone else!!!

Okay folks.....just a head's up!!! If the weather they are calling for hits during the night or early morning and we wake up with snow and ice on the ground....The Enterprise office will be closed!
If the office can open, we will but might close early if the roads get dangerous!
Please be patient with us as we try to stay safe and warm!

Okay, parents, grandparents, and everyone! The letters to Santa from the kids, fur-babies, and some adults have now been sent to the printer and will be in next week's issue! It is another good one!
