Read this Excellent excerpt from life coach Tonya Carter!!

About a month ago, I had a chance to meet Tabitha Brown and her beautiful energy is just as infectious online as it is offline.

This picture was definitely candid as I was mentioning to her about her inability to compromise herself to “fit” someone else’s criteria.

When I read the article on people.com and saw her post on IG…she wrote in her caption.

“I’ve had to break down a lot of walls and barriers to get to my freedom”

And it made me think about the importance of doing the inner work.

When you step into the decision of heightening your consciousness, a lot gets revealed in layers about yourself, your life, others & even the world.

And in this awareness, you began to see inaccurate truths about who you are based on your upbringing, your experiences, your relationships & even culture.

And when you decide to peel back the inauthentic onion of who you thought you were into the core of who & whose you really are, it becomes VERY personal!

When it comes to being your “authentic self” it sounds “motivational” & it’s often a popular buzzword that many use but the work it requires to live in that energy involves a level of courage that many have difficulty living & being.

I’m very convinced that we live in a society where being accepted, validated & approved by any means necessary is the normalcy whereas living in the truth of who & whose you are is abnormal.

As a person whose been on this journey 7 1/2 years now, the one thing I wish I had done was break down these walls much sooner however, I’m also grateful that I didn’t let anymore time pass before I started.

For those who are reading this,

❓What walls are currently standing in your way?
❓What barriers & limitations that you must break from to experience your breakthrough?
❓What strongholds need to be pulled to experience the freedom you deeply crave?

I’m convinced that many of us know we’re not living in the fullness of who we were created to be but the question is how long are you going to wait to step into that truth for yourself?

Remember: Life it too short & time is too precious! Don’t waste another year, month, and/or day to do what you already know you need to be doing!
