✨We must remember to pause and rest as busy entrepreneurs/business owners.

I'd like to send a huge THANK YOU to Retail Alliance for all they do to support small business owners. A few months ago, I attended their 'Retail Therapy' retreat for my second year in a row. Just like last year, I got to connect and recharge with amazing women running even more amazing businesses.

We stayed at yet another beautiful venue (this time at Kingsmill Resort ) reflecting over the water, scenery and rising with the sun with yoga. This experience was all I needed and more personally and professionally.

As we move into Spring (the true new year), I am still feeling revitalized from this retreat.

I met some really amazing people the last couple of days. Talking about su***de for two days straight over 15 hours was a LOT.

I reflected on people I really care about who didn’t make it due to the rising numbers. I learned some valuable tools to assist in su***de interventions when/where needed.

Don’t ever be afraid to reach out.💛 (As of this very moment, I am going to bed though😂 ) What I learned in su***de first aid training is that it’s not about solving anybody’s problems but simply keeping them “safe for now” (and get this; with boundaries).

I'm extremely excited to hit the stage as a Facilitator for this year's BLCK Street Conference! The "balance" of work and life is such an IMPORTANT topic. I'm honored to hit the stage and delve all the way into this because WHEW CHILE!!!

Thank you, JWC Foundation and all founders (past and present) for creating such an incredible platform and now conference where Black business owners are seen, heard and most of all educated in a safe and socially competent space.

Being an attendee for the past 2 years left me feeling not only inspired but connected and ready to take action with Sol Rise Essentials®. To be on the stage this year is a full circle moment for many reasons. I hope to see you there!
