🚨🚨ARREST MADE IN UPTOWN MURDER🚨🚨 According to a press release from the Richland PD dated 11/21/2024, a suspect has been identified in connection with the murder of Michael Perkins, which took place near the Uptown shopping area on November 16th. As part of the investigation, a nationwide warrant was issued for the arrest of 28-year-old male Isiah Rodriguez on charges of second-degree murder. Rodriguez is currently the sole identified suspect in this case, and Richland PD does not believe any additional individuals are involved. Rodriguez was apprehended without incident with the assistance of U.S. Marshals and other law enforcement agencies.

Two vehicle accident involving a Benton Franklin Transit vehicle at Kennewick Ave and Vista Way in Kennewick. One injury reported unknown to what extent are the injuries. All southbound lanes are blocked.

WSP Confirms that around 9am this morning a body of a deceased male was found on the side of the road EB 240 to EB182. There is no indication of a wreck in this area. They say they are still very early into this investigation and are considering bringing out the crime scene unit out of Spokane. We will update you all when we get updates.

Yakima: on scene of a hit and run. Naches and Walnut hit a person then the white truck ran down to Naches Ave and beech where he was apprehended. Unknown status of the victim at this time will update when I have that information

Pursuit terminated due to public safety.

Vehicle comes back to an Othello residence. Othello pd is going to make contact with the residence incase suspect goes home.

Yakima Police were in pursuit of a stolen car. During the chase the male suspect opened fire on officers. One police vehicle sustained a flat tire due to bullet hole. Police did not fire back. Suspect was taken into custody after a violent crash with a roto rooter van at the corner of Yakima Ave and 4th avenue
