1. Social media is where your customers are. They are not watching T.V. as much anymore. The new television is social media so that is where you need to be.
2. Social proof. When someone is looking for your product or service, they will look at your social media before deciding to do business with you. More than half of adults don’t trust a brand until they see social proof. You need to build a following.
3. Social media is the new referral system. People still want referrals when looking for a service or product but now instead of just asking one person they ask on Facebook.
4. Create brand awareness and stay top of mind when someone is looking for your product or service. Someone may not need what you offer right now but they might in the future. You want to be the business they think of first.
5. Social is the new marketing. Marketing will always be needed but the way you market your business has changed. Social media is where your customers are so you need to evolve to get ahead of your competitors. Social media is the new television, television is radio, radio is newspaper. You must stay on the top of the marketing curve to compete.
