Last summer I made the "Prairies and Wetlands of Sherburne County" and I thought it was an excellent concept for the groundwork of a short nature-documentary project. Does anyone here have ideas for what I can do this summer? Locations, an animal or two to focus on, or a cool shot I should try to pull off?
I have aerial videography capabilities and will soon get a macro lens for my camera. If you have ideas I'd love to hear them!

During a lull in yesterday's snow period, I took the drone out for my first-ever proper use of waypoints, which allows me to automatically trace a path my drone would follow.
Every. Time. 🙄😂
Spring is in the air!
Well, it is the first sunrise of spring for sure. The darn wind was making the drone work to stay in place, and I had to adjust settings a bit, but it was still a beautiful sunrise. Attached is my ground camera footage, but like the drone, it wasn't until later I realized they were off as the sun came up.
This looked better in my head, but I was attempting to get a shot of an incoming weather front.
I finally reviewed the drone footage from an ice-fishing trip to Red Lake, that I had with my dad and brothers this February. Here is a short compilation of my favorite shots. One of the best parts of this trip, aside from the walleye and perch harvested, was being able to test the top speed of Droney, without fear of hitting trees or powerlines. Although I was still diligently scanning the ice for any that may appear. Multiple shots, of nice clear sunsets, were a great bonus with the reflections of light and the visibility only a lake in winter can provide.
