These hit the spot on late Tuesday nights ...

Here’s an old staple from our Tuesday production nights at the Northwest Trail: grilled cheese with ham and apples and almonds. I took some liberties as I wasn’t making sourdough back in those days. Enjoy!

Hey former Trailsters! Rob here, and I just wanted to check in and say hello. It's been a while and I hope you are all doing well. Also, you should be sheltering in place to ride out this nasty COVID-19 pandemic. And while you're self isolating you're gonna need to cook. Back in the day I used to make dinner on Tuesday production nights, and if I remember correctly, pozole was always a favorite. Here are some instructions for making a pot Mexican chicken soup for the soul. Take care and watch plenty of Meryl Streep movies on Netflix while you're hunkering down. Stay safe. I miss you all.

Word on the street is there's a new student newspaper in town... We welcome it. That said, they need to check their facts when it comes to a mascot costume price tag.

(1) Apologies for late posting, but we have the last two stories for NWC's celebration of Black History Month. Note, I was not able to cover "The Evolution of the 12-Bar Blues," but special shout out to Rob Rumbolz and Jeff Troxel for the event.

As one of its events for Black History Month, NWC’s Office of Intercultural Programs held a lecture. Dave Patterson hosted the event and discussed the truths, misconceptions, and reform of the criminal justice system, especially regarding African Americans. Dave Patterson, NWC’s instructor of...
