For the first time in school history Powell High School has an individual state cross country champion. Kinley Cooley ran away from the 3A girls field to win with a time of 19:08, capping off her undefeated season in Wyoming with an individual state title. Overall the Panther girls earned a trophy for a third straight season, finishing second as a team behind Cody.
