Gorham breaks into celebration after beating Scarborough 46-33 in the Class AA South boys' basketball title game Saturday night at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.
Gorham (18-2), the top seed in the South, will face neighbor Windham, the North’s top seed next Saturday at Cross Arena.

After surviving a tough-shooting night in its regional semifinal win against Medomak Valley, the top-seeded and unbeaten Oceanside Mariners – and especially sharpshooter Carter Galley – returned to their high-scoring ways with a flourish Friday afternoon, routing second-seeded Lincoln Academy 73-48 at a jam-packed Portland Expo.
