Tonight will be the WORLD PREMIERE performance of an incredible addition to the trumpet repertoire, Eric Ewazen's Sonata No. 2 for Trumpet and Piano. If you are in or around New York City, drop what you are doing and get down to Christ & St. Stephens Church on W69th St. tonight at 7:30pm to hear Chris Gekker (trumpet) and Rita Sloan (piano).

Very excited to be part of this huge project for OrchestraNEXT and the Eugene Ballet. A 500-page score creating a show featuring the music of Louise Farrenc (1804-1875). She is said to have been the first woman to compose a symphony (1842).
