✨Here’s the official rules for the Saint Joan Luminary card:
If you possess Saint Joan at the end of the round, you gain two points instead of the usual one point for a luminary. However, this blessing comes at a price. When you collect Saint Joan by clearing a field, you must immediately reseed the field using all the cards in your hand. This occurs regardless of whether or not you collected an okus, and takes the place of any other reseeding of this field. Once you’ve placed your cards in the field, redraw until you have four cards in your hand.

In LA earlier this week for the hottest minute and managed to stop by The Getty right as it opened to see their display on Graphic Design in the Middle Ages. I thought it might be illuminating (!) to maybe an RPG in the future. I love banking this type of knowledge. Also, chess puzzles from the Middle Ages, funky griffin gals, and squashed dolphins. You never know the next game these might show up in ✨-j

It’s playtest & prototype day for Keith & I. Currently we have three games in active playtest. Although we’re usually always thinking about them in the back of our heads, we schedule a big block of time to keep progress from getting lost in the whirlwind of day to day tasks. Today was a “let’s just try it!” Day- focused on one or two aspects of each game that we want to change or enhance. We try different things using the most temporary and changeable components ( little pieces of paper). It’s a time of not being too precious about ideas and it’s my favorite- jenn
