Last week, TDS Media assisted LTN Global during their production of the Senior League Softball World Series for ESPN. The event, held in Lower Sussex, DE, is part of the Little League World Series Program. LTN's X1 production truck was present to provide live coverage from two fields. TDS's Doug Sicchitano managed the technical aspects of field 2's production, which operated remotely with LTN's control room based in Kansas City. It was a challenging, but fun, event to be a part of.

JVC has welcomed TDS Media into their family of dealers and we are very excited! TDS has long been fan of JVC products, having used their impressive 600 series camcorders in a number of projects and builds for clients.

Replacing the 600 series, and upgrading to 4K, is JVC's impressive GY-HC500 series camcorders. To even call it just a camcorder is selling this camera short.

We found JVC offers a high quality picture for a very cost effective price, compared to other brands. The JVC line also has more powerful lenses with the 600 series having a 23x and the 500 series being a 20x. Other brands tend to max out at 15x.

If you need a camcorder for streaming and sporting events, you should take a look at the GY-HC500 and give us a call, as we are sure you will also enjoy our pricing and service.

Sometimes we have to deal with less then ideal situations, case in point was this shoot for CBS Sunday Morning. We needed to utilize a tight hotel room for this quick interview. On top of the location challenges, the reporter was on the west coast so a Zoom meeting was setup and the cameras video and audio was feed into Zoom. In the end the shot looked great. Tune in to CBS this Sunday!

In person events are back, but you shouldn’t dismiss your virtual and hybrid events producer just yet. We have tons of tricks to elevate your next event. When our client wanted to wrangle their long award ceremonies, while adding some Hollywood style, they turned to TDS Media. We remotely interviewed the people who nominated the award winners, getting personal stories and insights. Edited the stories together, adding in photos and videos of the winner. All to produce an “Oscars” moment for the award winners, complete with an instrumental fanfare as they take the stage to accept their awards. #events #inpersonevents #video

Completed a very unique virtual event today. PACE Pittsburgh holds an annual Inclusive Voices event, where there is not just one speaker, but many. Each table has a speaker and quests signup to sit at the table of the speaker they are most interested in, to not just get to hear the speaker, but to converse, listen, and learn together as a group. A difficult event to take virtually. PACE reached out to TDS Media for help and we worked with them to produced a successful virtual event. We always like to go the extra mile for clients, and for PACE we did that with their pre-show loop. PACE created a slide show of pictures of past to event to play before the official start as people entered the virtual room. It was decided they wanted to add in a counter, which is a simple task in our production system, but we did not want to just throw up a timer over the slides and be done. So we created a frame to display the slides and then using PACE's branding for the event we created graphics and a countdown timer.
