First of many welcome to my documentary journey!

9 years ago, I received a call stating that had been in a really bad car accident. I rushed to the hospital to find my best friend in a coma with a feeding tube down her throat.

It was a scary time filled with a lot of uncertainty. Christina only had been a mother for a month at the time of the accident.

It was a challenging time to stay optimistic because I was looking at the state that she was in. There was a loss that came from that accident, and I'm thankful that it wasn't her life!

She lost a part of her leg in the aftermath of the accident. It was a long journey that still continues today. All the same note Christina has come a long way from where she was to where she is now!

Her daughter has a mom, her parents still have a child. I know we both feel like it would have been awesome to save that leg. On the same note if I had to choose between her leg and her life I'd say take the leg as well.

9 years later Christina is ready to tell her story along with four other individuals who live without all their limbs.
