Our first look at The Last of Us HBO series is here! For anyone who is not familiar with the game, Sept. 26th is "Outbreak Day" which is the date that the Cordyceps brain infection reached critical mass.

An example of a famous match cut is that of Stanley Kubrick's film, 2001: A Space Odyssey. After an ape discovers the use of bones as a tool, he throws one into the air. As the bone spins in the air, there is a match cut to a much more advanced tool; an orbiting satellite.

Sorcerority is getting a film adaptation. Gabrielle Union and Taraji P. Henson are teaming up with Gamechanger Films to produce the graphic novel.

In a short summary, Sorcerority is about Melanie, a young African-American girl who enrolls into a university of magic. In between her studies, she uncovers her familial connection to the school's mysterious past as well as her pivotal role in it's future.
