Newly approved Florida Bill SB280 will require by July 1, 2024, that all Short Term Rentals...
1. be licensed by the state of Florida (for a fee),
2. Be registered by the county (for a fee)
3. post the license and registration numbers on advertised platforms AND to collect state and county from guests and share STR info with the state and county
4. Limit overnight maximum occupancy to 2 per bedroom and 2 in one common area OR
50 sq ft per person in bedrooms and 2 per in one common area
