The making of music or any art, is not a competitive act. Our work is representative of the self. There are many ways to do something. But the only way that truly matters in this universe is your way.

Discovering your own way is the key to unlocking your true creative self. Trends come and go. But when you dial into the beauty of how the universe flows and learn how to surf it’s wave, you can elevate your art from good, to very good, and land on great.

Practice hyper awareness and look for clues the universe gives you. What do you see, feel, hear, smell, taste? What keeps popping up in your front sight focus? Thats a clue from the universe telling you to tap into this thing it’s nudging you towards and make art.

Do you suffer from procrastination?

I definitely do. As creatives, we often get stuck thinking, dreaming, and waiting for the perfect time to do something.

Whether it’s finishing a song, releasing it, or learning a new skill, the most effective yet simple advice for creative folks is to just start.

Don’t overthink s**t. Take the first step. The act of movement will create the momentum you need to free you from procrastinations powerful grip.

For "Condos By The Sea", our client requested a full 80's production and we only used instruments, sounds, and samples from that era to create the music project. Anthony even researched and deployed the same post production techniques to mix it like it was made in the 80's. He used the same reverbs, eqs, compressors, and other tools from that era to mix and master the song.

☀️👯‍♀️ "The Toby Dance" is a lively summer song that draws inspiration from local beach vibes. Produced and mixed by Anthony Navarro and his team at Modus Flow Recording Studio in Pensacola, FL, the song went through six different iterations before landing on its final version.

💎🔉🥁 To create the perfect sound, Anthony and his team utilized Reggaeton kicks, snares, Latin/Caribbean style percussion, analog synths, a custom made watery turtle-flap sound, and Anthony's signature "punchy" bass guitar sound. It also features vocal performances by Dyandra, Colton Carlson, and Raquel Marcano.

✅ 🕴The ultimate test for the songs's quality came from a surprising source: Anthony's 5-year-old cousin Spiderman. The team continued to revise and perfect the song until Spiderman was enchanted enough to dance along.

🤝✨ Overall, "The Toby Dance" is a collaborative and energetic music project that captures the essence of a care free summer. It's no wonder that it's bound to get people moving and grooving.
