Eric Ervin also know as the upcoming producer/lyrical talent Elay Cash, was born in Pensacola Florida in a rough neighborhood locals call uptown. During the mid 90s and early 20s the drug traffic and crime rate was at an all-time high for city of Pensacola as a whole. As you can imagine there wasn't much the streets of uptown had to offer Eric especially at such an Impressionable age. At the early

age of 9, Eric decided to focus all his time and energy in his extreme passion for music in order to avoid the rugged street life of Pensacola. By the time Eric was a freshman in high school he had accomplished many things as a self defined artist including the construction of his home studio at age 14. Elay, which is what most classmates, family, and close friends knew him by, began to attract an impressive fan base as well as recognition from other local artist. As Elay's popularity grew he decided to create a music group called, Spaced Gang Astronauts (S.G.A.) a group that has ambitions of a better future Elay cash is all about his fans who he says are his biggest influence along with his family and close friends.
