BRANDON: Join The Central MS Regional Library System at the Brandon Public Library on Saturday, August 31 at 11:00 a.m. and learn the basics of Pilates with Sara Leach from Downtown Pilates. Beginners are welcome. You can also bring your own mats, if desired. There will be floor exercises, but if needed, modifications can be made.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary CLOSURE planned on U.S. 80 in Rankin County next week

WHO: The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

WHAT: Temporary closure.

WHEN: From 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21.

WHERE: U.S. 80 between Rankin Rd. and Gulde Rd. in Rankin County.

WHY: Cross drain replacement.

HOW: Motorists should seek an alternate route during the closure period.
Message boards will be in place to alert drivers.
