I historically have never liked anyone taking pics of me...even at my smallest. I'm trying to be better at it especially because Kloé loves taking pictures.

She asked me to take this pic today because she thought I looked pretty and knows I love all things so I sat for the pic because I am trying to see myself from the eyes of someone who thinks I always look "perfect"♥️

Going back to the gym after 40? It can be so daunting😫

After I turned 40, it felt like my body went haywire—from weight gain and just not feeling fully comfortable, even though I’m super confident in myself. 🙃 I’ve restarted this journey countless times, and here I am doing it again.

This time, the goal is not just weight loss, but to feel stronger, accomplish personal goals, and shake off that sluggish feeling! 💪 Living in LA is actually motivating—everyone here is always working out. So wish me luck, because I know I’m not alone. For all the women out there doing the same—you’ve got this, mama. I see you! Let’s crush it together. ❤️

You would have turned 44 today. This years a little different because now Manita Juanita is with you and as sad as it is it gives me so great comfort knowing you were reunited with her. I know how much she missed you.

Every year I look for the same photos to share and I wish it weren't this way. These are some of my only memories I have of you. Theres so much I miss about you. So much I was able to tell you.

For years Ive feared the beach. I wanted nothing to do with it. Then 3 years ago I stepped on a beach one night and this feeling of calmness came over me and I always felt like you were there with me in that moment I decided the West Coast was where I needed to be. You always showed up for me when you were physically here and I truly believe you continue to do it even though you're no longer here.

I love you forever Josh♥️

We did it!🎉🥳

We did it! Todays Kloés last day of school as a Socal girl. She's grown so much since November and remains an honor roll student throughout the school year. Thank you to teachers like who was a MAJOR part of our success. You deserve all the flowers for who you are for these students and parents♥️

Finally here's what her teacher had to say about her this semester:

"3rd Trimester: It is a pleasure to have Kloe in our class, she arrives to school each day with a smile ready to learn. Kloe puts consistent effort in her assignments and turns in quality work. She has continued to stay at grade level expectations throughout the year."

I've dreaded having to write this post because now it makes it real.

My Mamita Juanita passed away on Monday.....my last living grandma and Kloés great grandma is gone and I selfishly wish she weren't.

She was Bold and Funny and Beautiful and very unapologetically herself. A woman of class and values. I'd like to think that Kloè and I have some of her traits. She loved us immensely and never shyed away from telling us how much she did.

My one fear moving to the West was that this would happen. She was scared for Kloe and I and we had a talk I will never forget and carry with me forever. It brings me comfort that she she is no longer suffering and has been reunited with Josh , My grandpa Tata and her parents.

You gave us 92 years and I always cherish the memories Kloè and I made with you♥️ Give Grandma Iris a Kiss from us🙏🏼

It's kindness week at Kloés school and here she is with her favorite teacher Ms Ortega. She happens to be the schools wellness teacher who is constantly making sure the kids are in good mental health and helping them when they aren't feeling their best. I love her approach and how she incoporates yoga and mindfulness♥️
