POLICE LINE - WHEN COPS CROSS THE LINE!
The Police Line - "When Cops Cross the Line" Page and Documentary Films. These new Documentary Films will be dedicated to creating a voice and exposing the facts of Police-Involved Shootings, Crime, and widespread Police Brutality! These informative Docu-Dramas will also spotlight the Men and Women in Uniform who uphold their Oath, and take pride in protecting the general public and our civil rights! The good guys... but how many are actually left?... These new films will take an in-depth, investigative look into open and closed cases of Police involved shootings, Brutality and Civil Rights Violations. We will be learning and investigating the accounts, from the victim's point of view (where available), eyewitnesses, their family, and friends, along with law enforcement, former law enforcement officers, private investigators, forensic pathologists, hospital records, police files and evidence from these alleged cases. Our mission is to reveal the Law Enforcement Officers who cross the line... We need to bring out the truth, even if they are not guilty of crossing that fine blue line, which appears to be getting thinner and thinner with each 911 call. Too many of our nation's Police Officers are using deadly force when and where it is not needed or warranted. They appear to have a safety net to literally get away with murder, simply because they possess a badge and took an oath that most do not take seriously. There are many alternative ways of keeping the peace without killing someone who had a fake or even a real weapon. We will explore these non-lethal techniques with re-enactments, forensic science and digital models to show how they could have been used in several current and past cases, instead of the un-necessary lethal force that was allegedly used. We will take a look back through history at Police Tactics and bring to surface just how many people have been killed by Law Enforcement Officers over the years, and see how those numbers have drastically grown. We are not saying that all Police-Involved Shootings are not justified, but we will show you that a large percentage of them could have and should have been avoided. For example; did you know that only 56 people were killed by Law Enforcement between the years of 1943 and 1999? Yet, in 2010 alone, almost 600 people were killed by Law Enforcement officers in the US! People of all races and backgrounds! In 2015 alone there were 986 People Killed by Police officers and 98 of those were in the month of August, including Michael Brown! There is a problem here that needs to be addressed and brought to light for the world to see. Tactics need to be questioned, training needs to be revised, and accountability needs to be put into place once and for all! We are in no way trying to bring a negative image to our Local, National and/or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. We understand and agree that not all of our Nations's Law Enforcement officers have done or will do anything wrong, and we commend those who do their jobs with pride, intelligence, and compassion. We will highlight those officers as well and commend them for a job well done and create a positive spotlight on such a negative topic. Such as Officer (Sniper) Mike Plum, who in Dublin, Ohio shot a pistol out of a man's hand who was threatening su***de. He saved the man's life, instead of ending it like so many officers today would have. The Pistol was shot out of the man's hand even after he was waving it at Police on the scene. This was a peaceful resolution to an extremely stressful situation where everyone, even the man waving the pistol, got to live another day. Just because someone has a weapon does not mean they will use it! The Police Officers who have a heart and truly believe in the oath taken, deserve credit and praise for a job well done. They have all promised to Protect and to SERVE the public, not just each other... Unfortunately, some have forgotten that and allow fear, personal judgment, desires, and even financial gain to destroy them! The time has come to stop the unnecessary murder and beatings of our nation's citizens by scared, mentally fragile, fed up, scorned and/or just plain cruel law enforcement personnel. These Cops believe they are above the law they have sworn to uphold. They should and need to be held accountable for the wrong they have done. There are questions that need to be answered and we are here to ask those questions and provide the public with not only answers, but answers backed with the facts! We understand that Police are only human and do make mistakes, they have bad days just like you and I. They are sworn to uphold a professional presence and protect everyone without prejudice. Even those who are mentally ill, scared, or feel they need to fight for their lives (Clinically known as the Fight or Flight Response). Not every cop in a bad situation is necessarily a bad cop. They could be simply responding to a call to help a fellow officer needing assistance, which is not always the truth but can be a deadly combination. Are some of today's Law enforcement Officers lacking Compassion, Morals, Proper Training or are they simply just too afraid of the general public to do their job without prejudice? They should concentrate on sparing a life without using lethal force instead of just taking one, and then relaxing at home on a paid administrative leave. Everyone has the right to live, not just the Police! This "shoot to kill, then cuff" mentality is becoming more accepted each day by some of the people sworn to protect us and our rights. Help us shed some light on this sensitive yet troubling issue before more innocent and/or unarmed citizens become statistics. Because the next statistic could be you or one of your loved ones!
