Family Service of Glencoe hosted its annual fundraising benefit, Glencoe Under the Stars, at Northmoor Country Club where guests enjoyed an evening under the stars complete with a chef-curated menu, delicious cocktails, dancing, silent and live auctions, a paddle raise, and a moving and motivational program about perinatal mental health. Proceeds went directly toward ensuring that everyone in Glencoe and neighboring communities can access affordable mental health care and social services, regardless of ability to pay. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago Woman's Board hosted the 75th Annual Summer Ball, raising more than $2.4 million to support thousands of youth across the Chicago-area Clubs. The event featured dazzling performances, special guest appearances, and a lively auction. With nearly 400 guests in attendance, the gala celebrated the long-standing commitment of the Woman's Board to the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago. This year’s event continued the tradition of elegance and philanthropy, uniting esteemed guests and influential community members in support of Chicago's youth.

Another early look at an August issue social! Inspire Change for Mental Health celebrated its premier Spring Gala with cocktails, entertainment, a silent auction, and dancing at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield. Inspire Change for Mental Health is a nonprofit organization offering mental health scholarships through the Inspire Counseling Center’s locations in Kenilworth, Lake Forest, Northbrook, and Evanston. All proceeds benefit the programs and services of Inspire Change for Mental Health.

The first post is the North Shore Board of the Northwestern Settlement's 2024 Gala Kick-Off Luncheon at North Shore Country Club. The North Shore Board supports the Northwestern Settlement’s mission to disrupt generational poverty by raising funds for the award-winning House In The Wood Camp, which provides both a residential summer camp experience in Lake Delavan, Wisconsin as well as a year-round outdoor education program for at-risk youth. Save the date for the North Shore Board’s House In The Wood Gala on November 9 at Hilton Chicago.

Spring was in the air at the sold-out RUSH University Medical Center (RUMC) Junior Auxiliary Board Fashion Show held at Sunset Ridge Country Club. Area retailers Bunny & Babe, Elena Victoria, ENAZ, Gigi’s Closette, LuxLab, and Rock N Rags provided stunning fashions, from casual day wear to full-length gowns. Led by Parent Advisor Co-Chairs Beth Kauffman and Kelly Bachman, the Rush Junior Board, comprised of more than 100 girls from New Trier Township, raised nearly $100,000 for RUMC from their three major fundraisers: a fall car wash; a holiday tea; and the spring fashion show.

Embracing the classic nautical “Anchors Aweigh” theme, she is enlisting the help of creative talents including the luxury floral designer Elizabeth Meador Flowers, artist Paige Spearin, and the acclaimed yacht rock band Anchors Away. The elegant evening will take place on June 7 at Chicago’s Saddle & Cycle Club and supports The Woman’s Board’s newest pledge of $4.6 million to fund comprehensive reproductive care for women.

The May issue's First Class feature highlights Amangiri - a diamond in Utah's breathtaking landscape. Just a few hours away and you are in paradise. This was a favorite and I highly recommend Amangiri to any and all - such an incredible resort in the most beautiful landscape. Enjoy and definitely try the via ferrata - such a thrill with the best views!

Arch in Winnetka hosted a reception to celebrate the work of local artists Katie Powell Brickman and Anne Hayden Stevens. Guests sipped champagne and mingled with Brickman and Stevens to discuss their striking creations. Don’t worry if you missed the big night, the artists’ work will be featured at Arch through May, so pop in to experience the pieces firsthand. I wasn't able to include this in print because I ran out of space but I had to share here as you must stop in to see the works. Happy shopping.

Their passion for art, the creative process, and human connection is now realized in the luxury brand that embodies confidence and feels good inside and out. One percent of ARO + STAR revenue currently supports a monthly accountability and mentorship program for formerly homeless moms through a partnership with The New Hollywood Accountability Progam. Alyse and Marla collaborated with members of the program for a great photo shoot of the ARO + STAR products.
