Just published by Page Street: Zack Smedley's debut YA novel, "Deposing Nathan." In a starred review, Kirkus calls this story of two high school boys navigating the minefields of their budding relationship "a heartbreaking case worth revisiting again and again." I'm thrilled to see this work in print and am proud to have performed an editorial proofread on the manuscript. Read the full Kirkus review here:

Writers of medieval fantasy seeking to enrich their books with details beyond the ordinary might enjoy NOVA's "Secrets of the Shining Knight." This episode of the popular PBS "secrets" series takes a deep dive into how the knights' armor was forged, shaped, strengthened, and etched. It also shows how knights were able to remain agile and unencumbered while wearing up to 70 pounds of armor. Highly recommended.
