I have been working on this story for the past few days — but as we witness the insolvency and bankruptcy of Lyte in real time, many festivals and fans are on the verge of losing not only their tickets but also hundreds of thousands of dollars in funds. For small event organizers, this could mean losing nearly all of an event’s revenue — and potentially facing financial ruin.

Several events, both big and small...have reached out to me directly: saying they have hundreds (if not thousands) of tickets currently stuck in Lyte’s system with no resolution. Lyte has gone completely silent, and its founder and CEO, Ant Taylor has left the company without warning.

As of now, the company’s website has been down for days, showing only a message that says, “Be Back Soon,” along with a note that they’re undergoing scheduled maintenance.

This is an ongoing situation, and I’ll share updates as they come.
