This is a quick look at some of the stories we filmed in 2023, a lot of them are about inequality and people who are fighting for acknowledgement of some sort. Many thanks to all who collaborated with us and who shared their often personal stories. It was an interesting, insightful and sometimes difficult year with all these intense stories and we hope we can bring more positive stories next year.

We can finally share this amazing production we made called Us & Them with Deutsche Welle about generational differences between young adults and their parents. What a joy it was to find and film with our strong female characters. In this picture you see Alyssa San Agustin who chose her path as a boxer. We’ll share more about this series other episodes soon. Our short documentary ‘Friendly Fridges’, starring Kymme Williams, has been selected for the largest documentary festival in the US; DOC NYC. It will be screened on Sunday night Nov 12 - and on Tue Nov 14th - during the ‘New York, New York’ shorts program in Village East by Angelika cinema. (Tickets available on the DOC NYC website)

Many border crossers who try to get into the US without papers don’t survive the harsh journey. And many of them are unidentified. Medical examiner Dr. Corinne Stern has made it her life’s work to identify these crossers and reunite their bodies with their families.
