Golden State Warriors Claim They Want To Build The Team Around Steph Curry And Have ‘No Intentions’ Of Moving Him Somewhere Else
Even if they aren’t the same squad they once were, the Golden State Warriors aren’t about to quit yet. NBA source Brett Siegel claims the Warriors are still dedicated to capturing a championship with their enduring franchise player, Steph Curry.
Curry was selected as the seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft. After graduating from Davidson, Steph was praised for his ball-handling and incredible shooting abilities. However, this resulted in a breakout season for the Warriors.
Siegel reported, “The Warriors have no intention of seeing Steph Curry wear another jersey to finish his career. As a result, the organization is prepared to do what it takes to remain competitive nearing the end of the legendary guard’s career.”
Following his leadership of the Warriors to prosperity and the formation of a dynasty from 2015 to 2019, Steph has been a team member for his whole career and has come to represent them. He has created history while wearing the Warriors uniform. Curry followed his stellar play in the 2023–24 season. Moreover, there is hope that he may continue to develop at this rate for more years.
Though they finished 10th in the West and battled to avoid the lottery the previous season, the Warriors are under greater pressure than ever to maintain their competitiveness and make decisions that will advance the club. Can Steph Curry redeem himself and the Warriors from this slump? We’ll have to wait until next season to find out.
