Youโ€™ll Need:
ยผ cup of flour
1 lb beef liver
ยผ-ยฝ cup of butter
ยฝ tsp of salt
โ…› tsp of pepper
Oil to taste
1-2 tbsp of fresh minced sage
2 cups of thinly sliced onions
ยฝ cup of beef stock
1 tbsp of minced Italian parsley
ยผ cup of dry white wine

Steps:
First, you want to take a bag, and put the flour, the pepper, and the salt together in there.

Cut the liver into pieces that are about a half an inch, and then, put them into the bag, shaking this until theyโ€™re coated. This will help with muting the taste of this.

Get a skillet, and from there heat about 3 tablespoons of the butter, along with a little bit of oil, and from there, you want to sautรฉ your onions on a medium-high sort of level, so that theyโ€™re nice and tender. You should see a small sheen of glossy on this.

Once you see that, you want to take the onions, putting them inside a dish, and from there, sprinkle the onion as well with some pepper and salt.

Heat up about 4 tablespoons of the butter, along with a small dash of oil to the skillet as well.

Add in the liver and then cook this for about 5 or so minutes, until this dish starts to brown.

Once this is finished cooking, put the onions directly onto the skillet, heating these up together with the liver as well.

Take the liver and onions and put this onto a plate. Use a stock and the wine to deglaze this, and from there, you want to make sure the liquid is reduced in this until it creates a nice, thick sauce that will really give you something to enjoy with this.

Take the liver, put it on a serving dish, and then, also add the onion to this. Add the sauce you just made, and then add a bit of parsley in order to garnish, and then you can serve it!

Tips:

How can I make sure the liver doesnโ€™t taste too pungent?

This is a common question for a lot of people who like to make liver and onions, but donโ€™t know how to make it not taste too pungent. The best way to do this, is to wash your liver, and make sure that any dirt or additives are gone. Also, making sure that the marinade soaks up everything in this is a good way to make sure that you have the best liver and onions dish out there, and one that you can enjoy too.

Making mini donuts is fun! Here's a simple recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Oil for frying

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. In another bowl, mix together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
4. Heat oil in a pot or deep fryer to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
5. Using a mini donut pan or a piping bag, carefully pipe small circles of batter into the hot oil.

Chicken with Spinach and Mushrooms in Creamy Parmesan Sauce
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sautรฉ for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

What Youโ€™ll Need
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon hot chili-garlic sauce such as sriracha
2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
16 chicken wings wing tips removed
vegetable oil
kosher salt
fresh ground black pepper
How to make it
1. Make the glaze, in a small bowl, whisk the sauces, sesame oil and ginger together.
2. Trim excess skin from the edges of the wings.
3. Lightly brush or spray with the oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Grill the chicken wings over Direct Medium heat until the skin begins to crisp, about 10 minutes, turning once or twice.
5. Brush the wings with the glaze and continue to grill until the meat is no longer pink at the bone, 8 to 10 minutes, turning and brushing with the glaze 2 or 3 times.
6. Serve warm.
Recipe Notes
You may also choose to bake wings at 375 for 45 minutes then slather on the sauce and
bake again at 400 for 20 minutes until the skin is brown and sauce thickens

- 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup okra, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
_____Directions:_____
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the andouille sausage and cook until browned. Remove the sausage and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the okra, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, thyme, and bay leaves. Cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Add the cooked sausage back to the pot along with the shrimp. Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
6. Serve the gumbo over cooked white rice. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

When you find a sale on eggs, you can freeze them to store for baking and cooking later.
Eggs can not be frozen in the shell, but can be out of the shell.
Crack a single egg into each slot in an ice cube tray. Freeze, then pop out and put back into the freezer in a zip lock bag freeing up your ice cube trays for other purposes.
To use simply leave a cube per each egg the recipe calls for sitting at room temp in a bowl to defrost.
Freeze for up to 3 months or as long as 1 year.

Homemade vegetable soup on a rainy evening
I just browned some ground beef with onions and green pepper in skillet with salt and pepper. While that is cooking, I took my soup pot and added potatoes, corn, green beans, cabbage, carrots, Lima beans, can of chopped tomatoes with chicken broth and a tad of sugar. Basically I use whatever I have on hand. After potatoes are done, I add the meat mixture and let it simmer all afternoon on low. Add salt and pepper to taste plus garlic and onion powder. And if you like, a dash of hot sauce.

Cabbage Sautรฉed with Chicken
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small head of green cabbage, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 carrot, julienned
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
2 green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sautรฉ the Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced onion and cook for about 3 minutes until it starts to soften. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Cook the Vegetables: Add the sliced cabbage, red bell pepper, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Combine and Season: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, ground ginger, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring to combine and heat through.

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream (I used light)

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup sliced green onion
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon and green onion. Spoon mixture into a 1-quart baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling and hot.
Serve with bread slices, crackers, or veggies

Mississippi Mud Potatoes
Ingredients:
6 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 teaspoons garlic, minced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 325ยฐF (163ยฐC) and get a 9ร—13 baking pan ready by greasing it lightly.
In the prepared baking pan, mix together the diced potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked and crumbled bacon, minced garlic, and chopped onion.
Add the mayonnaise to the potato mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
Place the pan in your preheated oven and bake for about 1 1/2 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Serve hot straight from the oven and enjoy the creamy, cheesy, bacon-filled delight that is Mississippi Mud Potatoes

Directions.. mix 1 egg with a little water and let Okra set in a giant ziplock bag while I prep skillet, cast iron is great but I used a non stick pan. I then dredge a few pieces at a time with hands into a plate and straight into pan on medium-high heat (dredge is equal parts about a 1/3 cup of each....flour, corn meal, panko crumbs) once all in pan I season with a combo of Tiger salt, onion powder and season salt and pepper, I flip and repeat seasoning frying is only 4 to 5 minutes per side
