The control room has the deepest array of analog outboard gear paired with an endless list of plugins unrivaled by any other U.S. An extensive collection of Neve, API and Chandler outboard gear provides a wide variety of sonic colors. The control room can also handle large playback sessions. The Exigy stereo monitors with their custom dual 18” subwoofers are the loudest, smoothest playback system with undeniable accuracy. The live room can accommodate a 5-piece rock band, a large vocal choir or a 20-piece string section. This studio has become one of the top vocal recording environments in New York City. What separates Studio 1 from any other recording environment is the complete privacy matched with the constant updating of its equipment and plugins. The Avid Pro Tools Ultimate 2022.10 system with three Avid HDX processing cards can handle large track counts based on the 64 input 64 output configuration, and its Antelope Atomic clocking. The Solid State Logic Duality δelta 48 offers the ability to seamlessly move inside and outside of the box with great ease. Studio 1 is also setup for Sony 360RA Reality Audio 13.0 mixing as well as Dolby ATMOS 7.1.4

Studio 2 is perfectly situated for those mixing projects that are geared toward the mix engineer and producer. The live room recently added a Bechstein A2 upright acoustic piano. The live room is predominately utilized for lead & background vocals, key drum or guitar overdubs or any writing session required. A 5-piece group of background vocalists, a string quartet or a 6-piece horn section can be accommodated by the live recording space. The selection of analog outboard gear and near-field/mid-field monitoring is extensive and the main monitoring is the same Exigy S412G system with custom dual 18” subwoofers featured in Studio 1. An Avid Pro Tools Ultimate 2022.10 system with three Avid HDX processing cards that is a duplicate in size, setup and plugins to that of the system in Studio 1 gives producers and engineers the ability to seamlessly move between Studio 1 and Studio 2. The Solid State Logic Duality δelta 48 offers the ability to work inside or outside of Pro Tools with great ease. The studios were designed by Troy's Studio Design Group and UK-based White Mark, Ltd. They are the culmination of a design career that has included the Hit Factory Studios in New York, London and Miami, Red Bull North America in Los Angeles, ABKCO Records Studios in New York, private facilities in Mexico and Prague, as well as the initial recording studio for New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. In 2003, he won a TEC Award for Studio Design for Hit Factory New York's new Studio 6. In 2009, he won the TEC Award again for Red Bull North America in Los Angeles. "It was my goal to present a studio that addresses the needs of contemporary audio professionals and working methods," says Germano. “The Hit Factory is the next step in a logical progression of what a major recording studio should be. From writing and production to recording and mixing, we can easily accommodate any and every phase of the record making process.
