One afternoon while I was painting the house, I heard from a distance the brakes slightly screech as they came to a gradual halt a couple houses down and some young kids walked down the bus steps onto a sidewalk that passed by my house.
As they were walking by, one of the kids said "What are you doing?" I replied, " I'm doing a little painting, how was school?"
He came running over to me and said "School was okay .... is that fun?" I replied " I think it's fun. Do you want to give it a try?"
He said "Yeah!" So I told him "Okay little buddy, I will go get you a brush and while I'm doing that, go make sure it's okay with your parents".
He hurried back after asking and we painted the house for a few hours he confessed to me that his parents didn't care what he did and that the only thing he looked forward to at school was to eat lunch because they didn't have any food at home.
So I packed him a box full of everything I had at the house to take back home so he and his brothers wouldn't go hungry that night and I told him "If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to come by and ask little man."
As I watched him walk away with that box full of food, I came to the conclusion .... that every child deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a child.

Buy land in secret. Build the house in secret. Then do the house warming party with publicity.
Date in secret. Propose in private. Then marry in front of a crowd.
Let your haters only see your reality, never your vision, or you will have division.
In a game of chess, you don't speak. You just act. The only time that you ever speak when playing chess is to say checkmate.
Life is like chess. Don't broadcast your intentions. Act quietly. Keep achieving. Your achievements are your checkmate.

"Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you.
Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways.
Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride."

A group photograph was taken in 1958 in Harlem, USA. The same picture with the same people standing where they stood in 1958 was repeated in 1996. Most of the people had passed on. May we learn to appreciate and love one another. In 50 years' time, most of us would have passed on. And it is happening little by little, step by step every year. Think about this, and let's love, tolerate, and appreciate each other.

This is Jesse, he is a drifter who lives near the bridge in my area. He owns nothin but a bike, a bird and a bag of about 10 items!
Yesterday, while I was riding my bike down around the beach – which is about 5km from my house – I got a flat tyre. I had no choice but to turn around and wheel my bike the long walk home.
A few people rode past and didn’t really pay me any attention and I didn’t expect them too, but as I started walking, headphones in my ears, I noticed the homeless guy from under the bridge saying something to me. At first I thought he was going to ask me for something so I popped my headphones out and asked him what he wanted? He then replied “I don’t want anything bra but I’ve got a new tube in my bag and you can have it if ya want!” Shocked at first I said no thanks but he insisted. So I walked over to his little clearing where he had his things and his pet bird sat in a busted cage.
He opened up his empty bag and gave me the tube (which was one of the very few things he had) helped me change the tyre, even pumped it up! I asked him how I could pay him back and he said to me “don’t worry about it bra, this is what it’s all about!”
The enormity of his situation and the fact that he went out of his way to help me was so humbling, I mean this guy was willing to give me his stuff and didn’t want anything in return. To you and I, a bike tube would probably not mean much but to a guy with so little this item must hold enormous value!
I could go on and on about how selfless this guy was to give me, a total stranger, clearly in a much better position than him some of his possessions, while people like us are so selfishly attached to all our useless crap.
Anyway I just wanted to show you a pic of Jesse with his new Versace lenses, some fresh Sneakers, a full belly and a cold beer
Felt good to do something for the bloke. I also went up to woollies and got him a couple weeks worth of food and some seed for his bird lol

Man he was ecstatic even had tears in his eyes and couldn’t thank me enough, but amidst me sitting there proud of my good deed, and him singing me praises, I suddenly felt pretty bad because the truth is if he didn’t go out of his way to help me, I wouldn’t of done anything for him.
I ride past this guy all the time and never even think twice!
Really knocked me off my high horse!
Even tho we sit around with all our materialistic needs and pass judgment, this dude has something that none of us can buy!
I guess what I’m trying to say is thanks for the lesson in humanity champ!

“To the little boy at the science museum, I don’t know who you are, but thank you for being amazing. You let my son play and engage with you. You helped him pick up balls from the floor when you saw that he could not. You didn’t ask what was wrong with him or why he couldn’t walk, you just saw him.
Kaden is a lot like you, he is very curious and wildly smart. He wants to know how everything works.
Thank you for helping him turn the lever when you noticed he was too weak to do it himself. You will probably never see this but just by being you, you make this world better.”
And this is why, I think
the world’s gonna be just fine.

"While I was in Liberty I asked this gentleman why he was buying so much milk... Rick, who is retired from the marines, is buying milk and other groceries to make sure no kid in his neighborhood goes hungry. This was not his first time distributing items. He is not asking for anything in return, he said some of his families will not leave the house to go get the free lunches for the kids or go to the store. Rick is a true hero and I told him good Karma will be coming his way."
