The Largest Structure In The Universe! This gigantic supercluster is the largest known structure in the universe, it consists of 830 separate galaxies which are inside of 4 connected galaxy clusters. The supercluster is known as the “BOSS”, the entire structure stretches approximately 1 billion light years across

This iconic photograph is still considered one of the most-terrifying space photographs to date. Astronaut Bruce McCandless II became the first human being to do a spacewalk without a safety tether linked to a spacecraft. In 1984, he floated completely untethered in space with nothing but his Manned Maneuvering Unit keeping him alive

What’s special about this star field? Nearly every star you see is located not in our Milky Way galaxy but in our neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy.
In 2003, the Hubble Space Telescope captured this image containing about 300,000 stars from Andromeda’s halo—a spherical cloud of stars surrounding Andromeda. By analyzing their distribution of color and brightness, astronomers can estimate the stars’ ages.
They found that these stars span a wide range of ages, from 6 to 13 billion years old. The age range is much wider than that of the population of stars in the halo of our own Milky Way, where 11- to 13-billion-year-old stars reside. The difference is likely due to Andromeda’s more dramatic merger history.

Pluto used to be the ninth planet of the solar system until 2006 when scientists removed it from the list and declared it a dwarf planet.
But Pluto continued orbiting the sun as before.
Pluto doesn't care what others think about it.
