Salud Mental : DEPRESION
Esta semana trataremos este tema con nuestro invitado psicologo y hermano Esteban Pizarra este joven que Dios lo esta usando para bendecir y ayudar a nuestra generacion de jovenes con su experiencia como psicologo.

Dato: La depresión es una enfermedad frecuente en todo el mundo, pues se estima que afecta a un 3,8% de la población, incluidos un 5% de los adultos y un 5,7% de los adultos de más de 60 años (1). A escala mundial, aproximadamente 280 millones de personas tienen depresión (1). La depresión es distinta de las variaciones habituales del estado de ánimo y de las respuestas emocionales breves a los problemas de la vida cotidiana. Puede convertirse en un problema de salud serio, especialmente cuando es recurrente y de intensidad moderada a grave. Puede causar gran sufrimiento a la persona afectada y alterar sus actividades laborales, escolares y familiares. En el peor de los casos, puede llevar al suicidio. Cada año se suicidan más de 700 000 personas. El suicidio es la cuarta causa de muerte en el grupo etario de 15 a 29 años.

Sisters Marisol and Andrea spoke about their own experiences of not having family support in church. If you are a young person who doesn’t have your family in church don’t be discourage. God will give you a spiritual family in your church. Don’t stop having faith and keep praying for your family!
