The Quarter Rat started out in 2009 as a single sheet fanzine covering the insane and hectic life of living and working in The French Quarter of New Orleans, LA. Tales of working on the notorious Bourbon Street and dealing with the wild tourism trade. Today it's a news site focused on the daily happenings in this tiny 300 year old section of America. keep up on what is happening in the Vieux Carre, and for visitors to get an idea of day to day life in this crazy tourist destination. We exist to document everything and give voice to those who live, work and play in the French Quarter.
