“Earlier this week this crash on Marys Pond Road sent the operator to the hospital.

First arriving units reported that the vehicle was on fire but the occupant had been extricated from the vehicle. The fire was quickly extinguished and the operator was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.

The Cranston Officer approached the suspect vehicle on foot, opened the driver’s door, and ordered the occupants to exit. The male operator refused while the female passenger told the driver to flee. The vehicle made contact with the Officer who discharged a single round from a duty weapon.

In the first video a young lady was actually scalped by hair ripping and ended up at the hospital. Second victim I’m unaware of the condition.
