Cafeteria staff at Needles Unified School District were hard at work all summer preparing, packaging and delivering meals for youth in the community thanks to the No Kid Hungry summer meal program grant funding. A total of 11,865 free meals were served between June 12 and Aug. 7 to all kids and teens 18 and under.
