Song Pharmacy Publishing was founded in 2015, in the song writing capital of the world, Nashville, Tennessee (arguable the last bastion of song writing). Our story started as a result of a massive consolidation of the music business. Technology had dramatically changed the landscape of music publishing which left thousands of writers displaced, unappreciated and a little scared. In the past, the independent publisher was where the development of writers and artist would begin. Recognizing this huge void we committed ourselves to bringing back the unique service and the entrepreneurial skill that once thrived on Music Row, while merging the tools of modern digital technology.

At Song Pharmacy nurturing a kinship with our writers is the key to a successful publishing and artist development company. Learning who our writers are and their unique perspective is as important as finding a great co-writer. From the lunch-box writer who wakes up everyday packs a lunch and goes off to write a song, to the inspiration writer who has to get hit by creative lightning before they can scribe a note, to the person who believes “I am just the instrument which the song is channeled through”.
