We are collecting new / used clothing and essentials to deliver to the Sarasota area at the beginning of next week. these items will be delivered to those in need in Ana Maria Island, Siesta Key and Sarasota surrounding area.

We are asking our neighbors and businesses to support our efforts with the following items ..

1. Used and New Clothing
2. New Socks and underwear
3. Bottled Water
4. Personal Hygiene Products, Soap and Shampoo
5. All Cleaning Supplies
6. Diapers and Baby wipes
7. Baby food, Formula

These items will be transported North to Sarasota to Sunshine Movers of Sarasota, Blake Fitzpatrick.

Christopher Torres and the team of Master Touch Tile and Stone has offered us a 16 foot box truck to deliver.

Additionally, We will be holding a party on November 12th and proceeds from the function will go toward hurricane relief efforts.

Thank you all for your patience as we’ve been navigating back to back hurricanes, and the rescheduling of our planned parties.

The 3rd Annual Pink Party, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness will be held this Tuesday, October 15th from 4 to 6 at Del Mar. Tickets are still available.

Happy hour at Burn By Rocky Patel, is rescheduled for 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, October 17th. Tickets are still available.

Our October launch party at the Warren has had to be rescheduled twice due to Helene and Milton hurricanes.

At this time, I am forced to combine October and November launch parties at Barbella on third for October 29th from 4 to 6 PM. Your tickets for the October launch party are still valid for November and tickets are still available for the 29th.

For any of these functions, you may request a refund if you are unable to come to the rescheduled event .

If you know me, you know that Park@Shore is near and dear to my heart… the pathway along the gulf of the perfect morning walk

These unfortunate souls photos show the newly rebuilt pathway from Hurricane Ian, was once again thrashed by Hurricane Helene and Milton.

The new dune built on the north side held up extremely well. The south side has yet to build the dune, but maybe this will be their opportunity

As the only provider of Labor & Delivery care in Collier County and the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in Southwest Florida, NCH is seeking fair reimbursement for Florida Blue policy holders. Florida Blue reported more than $14 billion in profit in the first six months of last year, yet NCH is reimbursed 40-percent less than other Southwest Florida hospitals for the same services.

If NCH and Florida Blue are unable to reach a resolution by September 30, all NCH locations and services will be considered out-of-network for Florida Blue policy holders, likely resulting in higher out-of-pocket costs for the patient. You can watch a video with more information here.

Excited to be on my way home…

Here’s a summary of the past 2 weeks

13 days, eliminated alcohol & coffee
10 days. Eliminated dairy and gluten
7 days. eliminated protein
5 days. Eliminate all food, juice only

Enjoyed massage per day, 2 Thai massages with Israel, absolutely the best. Also enjoyed reflexology and system recovery this morning .

Enjoyed a digestive release massage every day, a tummy massage with lavender oil. Pretty amazing

3 mile walk before sun rise up Long Canyon Rd. … uphill walk in the foothills of Dessert Hot Springs

30 minute Peloton Ride, daily

Started and finished, ‘Your table is Ready’, highly entertaining and well written book about NYC restaurant business in the late 80’s and 90’s which was my hospitality training group during the same time.

I’m so appreciative of the care presented by the entire We Care Staff… this is a family, beyond work, it’s their passion.

As I’ve shared priviousoy. There is beauty hidden in every corner of this stunning property. I was on my walk as the sun was rising this morning… I’ll always be in awe of how rhetorical sun hits the Sierra Miuntain range sunrise and sunset
