On January 18, 2025 the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History hosted the Mount Airy Surry County branch of the National Association of the University of Women, Inc. for their presentation of the 20th Annual Program: In the Spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Surry County Countians Continuing the Dream, and the 2025 MLK Dream Award Presentation.
WPAQ 740 AM 106.7 FM The Voice of the Blue Ridge and WSYD 105.1 FM 1300 AM Granite City Gold are honored to replay portions of this community event throughout the month of February. Tune in every Thursday this month at 3:30pm on WPAQ and at 10:30am on WSYD to listen.

🎂Join us as we celebrate the 77th Birthday of WPAQ at The Historic Earle Theatre. This free concert will feature some of the best local and regional bluegrass and old-time bands, including The Slate Mountain Ramblers, Travis Frye & Blue Mountain, The Country Boys, The Nunn Brothers, and Harrison Ridge.
