I would like to take the time to thank everyone at Orlando Health Southlake Hospital ER, cath lab and cardiogy. You saved my life. Literally.
On December 30th of 2023 I called an ambulance to come and get me. Thought it might be acid reflux or heartburn. I couldn't have been more wrong.
You see, I had a heart attack in the ambulance. I woke up NYE in ICU. Man was I sore. I won't go in to great details but I had to have 2 stents put in my heart. I flat lined twice. Went into tachycardia and they had to hit me 14 times with the defribulator to attain normal sinus rhythm.
You to all the ICU nurses you have my everlasting love and gratitude. You see, unbeknownst to me my nurse had gathered a whole bunch of people who came to countdown the New Year. What I did not expect was all 30+ people to break out in to Happy Birthday at midnight. I was speechless and in tears.
To all who had anything to do with me for those couple of days. THANK YOU!!!!!
I was released on my birthday with 2 stents and a new lease on life. You have my undying gratitude.
