I used to think I could never be good in sales... I never liked the idea of trying to talk someone into purchasing something they may or may not want. I just didn't care enough. I finally changed this outlook on "sales" when I became an entrepreneur and started my own business. Now I realize that "sales" is just having a conversation with someone who needs what you have.

"I'll invest in ads when I know I can get some ROI." - says prospective client. 💰

Sure, most people would invest in something if they knew 100% they would get a return on their investment.

But this is like saying "I'll only buy a lottery ticket if I KNOW it's a winner." This is just not realistic. A guaranteed ROI doesn't exist - there is always some level of risk.

However, the people brave enough to take the risk are the ones who reap the rewards!

And advertising in your business is CRUCIAL!

As an entrepreneur, solopreneur, or small-to-medium business, it can be tempting to reduce (or eliminate!) your ad spend when times get tough. But instead, you should think of advertising as a long-term strategy and INVESTMENT in your business.

By investing in your business, you are investing in yourself. 💪

"Facebook™ ads don't work for my business" - if only I had a dollar for every time I heard this. 💰💰💰

But when I talk a little more with these business owners, I find that they are:

❎Boosting posts (boosting get likes and shares, not sales)
❎Running an ad to let people know their business exists (it takes more than one ad for people to feel confident enough to buy from you)
❎Taking all of Facebook's™ "recommendations" (you're wasting $$$)
❎And making many other mistakes

I get it. Sometimes it feels less risky to DIY your advertising/marketing because it's hard to know who you can trust on the web.
But DIY'ing it can mean you're making mistakes you don't even know about.
And those mistakes are costing you $$ (and sales!)
But I have good news for you.
