A Message From Union Pacific Railroad

Road Closure and Track Maintenance Notice – January 11, 2025

Starting Saturday, January 11th, Union Pacific will conduct the first phase of a railroad tie replacement project in Harris and Montgomery counties. The project will replace 600 railroad ties and resurface public roadway crossings with a goal of completing one to two a day. Please see the map and current list of crossings below. The work is anticipated to occur within the hours 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. They are working closely with the coordinating roadway agency, such as the city or county engineering department, on this project. Advanced warning devices will be utilized to alert the public. The removed ties will be staged in piles on our right-of-way and will be picked up in the weeks following the project.

Their goal is to complete this work as quickly and as safely as possible, with the least amount of impact to neighborhoods, commuters, and businesses.

The following roadways that intersect with the railroad will be impacted.

• Sunday, Jan. 12: Trade Center Parkway
• Monday, Jan. 13: Tamina Road
• Tuesday, Jan. 14: Texas 242 (Eastbound frontage road)
• Tuesday, Jan. 14: Texas 242 (Westbound frontage road)
• Tuesday, Jan. 21: FM 1488 (East side of Interstate 45)
• Wednesday, Jan. 22: Rayford Road Access
• Thursday, Jan. 23: Richards Road
• Thursday, Jan. 23: River Plantation Drive

Noe was last seen on December 23, 2024, at his residence near the 8000 block of Matthew Steven Drive in Conroe, TX. Noe may currently be in Spring or The Woodlands area.
