Join us in welcoming Dr. Delgado to our team!
Born and raised on the Monterey peninsula, Dr. Delgado went to Monterey Peninsula College then transferred to UC Davis where she finished her bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology. She then went to veterinary school at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
After graduating and traveling, she returned to California for a 1 year rotating internship in Santa Barbara then returned to Monterey to work in general practice. We are excited she has returned to her roots and will be joining our practice.
Dr. Delgado has a cat named Weasley that gets into all sorts of shenanigans but is a good boy. She likes to play sports and travel in her spare time.

Last Saturday we were blessed to be able to give our Guinea a Quinceanera to celebrate her 15th birthday in fine style. As she is the only dog I have ever had who has not been a German Shepherd, she is the first dog I have had to live to 15. She is the reason caring for senior dogs is one of my favorite aspects of practice. We all had a great time celebrating her. Thank you to all who helped us.

If you've been to Nichols, you surely know our wonderful Customer Service Representative Supervisor, Shannon. Lover of dogs big and small, queen of reading while walking, and radiant receptionist. This August will be her 9th year here and 12th year in the field of veterinary medicine.

In her free time, she loves to be at the beach with her two dogs, Appa (2.5yr old Great Pyrenees) and Lola (14.5yr old Shih tzu). Be sure to stop and say hello to them next time you're here!
