Ten years ago, when I started exploring photography, this is the kind of stuff I fell in love with. Old buildings. I love looking at the rubble and seeing receipts for stores that no longer exist, the color of walls I should have never gotten to know, stained glass windows facing another home.. soon it will all be lost to time.

This is the Nash Mansion. At some point it was Rhome's funeral home, but I don't know too much about it

I love documenting, and it is why I love photographing. Whether it's your family, an event, or something abandoned, I think it all should get to be preserved some way.

When I heard that the demolition of 500 Donner could be any day now, I set off to preserve as many details as I could with my camera. This was one of the very first things I had ever photographed, and I'm heartbroken to lose such a beautiful piece of architecture.
