Free arts workshops for youth grades 6-12. This event, Week 1 will be drumming and beatboxing taught by Truth Maze. (Updated) Week 2 will be popping and locking taught by Godsent. (Updated) Week 3 will be creative writing and spoken word taught by Desdamona. And week 4 will be drawing graffiti style letters and characters with Orikal Uno. Each workshop will go from 10am to noon. This is part of a series from 9/24-10/15 at Living Spirit and a showcase on 10/22 at Lake Harriet UMC. The workshops will also be live streamed the day of the event from 10-12 central time at https://online.livingspiritumc.org/ Pre-Registration is encouraged, and you can also sign up at the workshop.
