Early in our relationship, David played this for me. It has been our song ever since. I have always wanted to hear him sing it. This Christmas morning, he sent the kids out of the room and said he had something for me that had been in the making for 2 years. (When he decided to do it, he didn't feel like his sax chops were up to it, nor was his voice. So, he began to work diligently to get back in shape. I remember wondering what had gotten him back into playing his horn.) He set up the video, turned it on and I proceeded to cry through the whole thing. This may not seem significant, but I have a very difficult time shedding tears. Not so Christmas morning. This is the most beautiful Christmas gift I have ever received. The making of it was fraught with almost getting caught (he had to mix it with headphones so I wouldn't know what he was working on), and a covid delay among other things. He pressed through and, with the help of our very talented friends, this is what he made. I've been holding it for myself, but now I want to share it with you. Enjoy.
