The Baldwin County Sheriff ’s Office has been named a 2024 grant recipient by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, receiving $24,598 to ensure Baldwin County is safer than ever!

The grant will be used to purchase four dive suits, four full face masks, four communication systems, and one surface station with accessories for the department and will ensure our community is better prepared for emergencies. The Baldwin County School District is closely monitoring the weather in collaboration with our local Emergency Management Agency and the National Weather Service. At this time, forecasts show that our area will not be impacted significantly by Hurricane Debby. Forecasted rainfall is looking to be in the .5-2" range, and winds in the 20mph gust range. After receiving this latest weather update, the Baldwin County School District will continue to conduct normal operations.
