ODOT took to social media to express their disapproval, stating that driving in reverse on the freeway is strongly discouraged. They urged drivers not to follow this reckless example and to call for assistance if their vehicle is experiencing issues.

Ann Arbor, MI.
A defendant, Corey Harris is charged with driving with a suspended license, shocks a Michigan judge when he enters a virtual court zoom meeting on his cell phone while behind the wheel driving. The judge is in disbelief when the defendant enters the zoom meeting and asks the defendant, "Mr. Harris, are you driving?". Harris answers "Actually, I'm pulling into my doctor's office actually. Just give me one second, I'm parking right now."
The judge immediately revokes his bond and orders Harris to turn himself in to the jail by 6 p.m. or a warrant would be issued for his arrest.

MPD was really impressed by her living quarters, it was clean and it smelled nice. When asked how she dealt with the cold the woman responded that she had lived in Alaska before and living her wasn't so hard. She got in her gear and they vacated the premises.
Part 4 of 4
The woman stated the MPD talked to her about a year ago when she was in the area. She stated she was living up in the sign at that time. The sign area was well known to her and others as a "safe spot."
Part 3 of 4
Family Fare had to think from a liability perspective and she had to vacate her tiny home. However Family Fare was very respectful of the situation and had her belongings returned to the woman. They were also very respectful of her anonymity. As you can clearly see she doesn't want her identity known.
Part 2 of 4
We've had many requests to see the full body cam footage of the woman who lived in the Family Fare Sign. We've obtained a full copy of that footage. We're going to post the whole thing tonight but it's going to come in about 2 minutes segments as it's almost 8 minutes long. There will be 4 in total. You will see just how polite, courteous and professional our Midland Police officers were. We also think Family Fare handled this very professionally with all things considered.
