Studies show that fathers are the most important person in a child’s life for who they become.

Jesus commands us to make disciples of people from all nations, to baptize them and to teach them to obey all that he taught his disciples. This calling begins with our own children. God calls every Christian father to disciple his own children to spiritual maturity. Discipleship, as Jesus demonstrated, is a three step process of teaching, demonstrating and then sending them out to do what was taught. This cycle is repeated over and over until the student reaches maturity and becomes capable of discipling others himself. The growth, maturity and functionality of the Church depend upon making new disciples, and this growth must begin with our own children. The Bible clearly calls fathers to this task and clearly describes the necessary steps. Discipling our own children is not a transferable assignment. It is not the work of the pastor, the Sunday school teacher or the youth group leader. The workshop is our own family life home and the father/child relationship. Children emulate their fathers. Their spiritual maturity depends upon their father’s spiritual maturity. No one else can do what only fathers have been called to do for their own children. This book should serve as a sufficient foundation to begin and to complete the calling to every Christian father to disciple his own children.

Affirmation expresses value for other people, without performance or perfection. Knowing our heavenly Father affirms our soul.

Affirmation is our expressed value for other people, irrespective of their performance or perfection. All of us were created with a vital need for affirming relationships. We are all starving for affirmation, and we are all seeking to fill ourselves.
Affirmation has the power to build others up, and withholding it has the ability to tear others down. Affirming fathers foster secure children. Affirmation heals broken relationships.
Affirmation cannot be earned; it must be freely given. So how can we become affirmed if we cannot strive for it? How can we affirm others? This book is a biblical study that addresses both questions. Check out this heartfelt study. It will change your life and your family.

Trapped in a victim identity? Find victorious freedom through Christ in a group study.

We live in a world of sin. We all struggle with security, fear, acceptance, and a joyful life in a world where everyone struggles for the same things. We are all subject to potential physical, situational or emotional harm from others. This is a “dog eat dog”, “every man for himself” world. We all grew up with a need for a peaceful and loving home with godly parents who loved each other. But those homes are rare today. The home has become a place for the greatest harm. Everyone has to survive somehow. Some have good jobs and money, some do not. Some have, and some have not. Some get all the breaks in life, and some always seem to come up short. Some succeed and some fail. Some are accepted, and some are rejected. Do you view yourself as a victim? Do you see yourself as deserving special treatment because of your victim status? On the other hand, do you see yourself as victorious? What does it mean to be victorious? And how does one obtain victory, especially when he already sees himself as the victim of those who are stronger? Are you your greatest enemy? Are you a victim of your own view of yourself? Is a victim status a choice? Is victory a choice? Jesus said the truth would set us free. Learn to seek victorious freedom through Jesus Christ.

How has anger affected your life? How has it affected someone else’s life?
If we don’t solve our anger problems, we won’t solve America’s problems.
America has become an angry people. Everyone seems angry about something or toward someone.
And possibly worse than all, anger consumes us as individuals and our families. Anger is part of everyone’s life to some degree. It affects our attitudes, our personal happiness, and it can be a wedge between our closest relationships. Once introduced into a family, it can spread to the next generation and the next and the next. Anger is like a plague, taking its victims and wounding children, adults, marriages--the entire family––America.
It strikes at the heart and consumes its victims, damaging relationships with loved ones, jeopardizing employment and even driving many to addictions and crime. Anger has become a plague in America. America must be set free from the bondages of anger for us to have any hope for a unified, life-giving nation.

“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires”. James 1:19–20 (NIV)

This biblical study on anger has set thousands free from anger––in prisons, in marriages, with parents, any relationship. Anger hides in the heart. Each lesson of this book addresses the heart, using the Bible to reveal the inner motives and hidden roots in men and women. Students are led into a deep relationship with God, who provides the ultimate healing. Proven to be excellent for private study, and even more impactful in group study.

As you must have noticed, my podcast has ended. But what has not ended are new book publications. I have a couple of new writtings out as of late. Check this one out. "Father to the Fatherless" is a biblical study of knowing our heavenly Father.

Jesus came so that we would know his Father as our Father. Jesus said, "If you knew me, you would know my Father". John 8:19 We all need to know the Father. Many of us had good father figures, but most children born today do not. 40% are born to an u***d mother. Half of our children witness the divorce of their father and mother. Many teens see peers as family. Psalm 68:5 says that God is a "father to the fatherless".

This study takes a serious look at seeing and knowing God as our Father.
