Our second ever show ⬇️
A year ago I sat across from my old history teacher, Edward Abdella , & asked him if he had lost his mind! Oh dear. 🤦🏻♀️
Had no idea at the time he’d talk me into crewing two of his rides - The Natchez Trace 444 & the Race Across America. Magnolia Mouths Media got to learn, grow, document & be a part of history.
This interview doesn’t do his story justice. When back in the South, we’re gonna do it again. We’ll also be cheering him on during his 2nd RAAM attempt - heh, stay tuned!!
Today, as we reflect on our first year as an organization, we are giving a big shout out to ‘Coach’, ‘Mr. Abdella’, ‘The Flying Freight Train,’ our beloved ‘Ed!’ So many names - one big heart.
As I get better, as MMM grows - it’s an honor to say THANKS! I firmly believe a lot of personal and organizational growth is due to Edward Abdella, my former educator. That’s kinda unique, special, & most definitely a blessing!
I learned dreams are great but they require work. I’m more willing than ever to put in the work because of this man’s influence.
May our lighting never be so bad again, may we inspire many to JUST START & KEEP GOING. That’s what happened a year ago 😊. & it looked like this. ⬇️
