This series of adventures borrows heavily from classic dinosaur art, books, and movies; if you’ve ever seen a classic Frank Frazetta or Roy Krenkel painting, or read or watched The Land that Time Forgot, The Lost World, Journey to the Center of the Earth, One Million Years B.C., The Flintstones, etc., you’re going to feel right at home.

Underwater Adventuring - Take on the challenge of exploring the deep waters surrounding the islands and the Land within the Mist.
Domain Management - An alternative and complementary system to that presented in Old-School Essentials allows players to optionally share in the privileges and responsibilities of ruling a domain, while earning gold, experience, and War Dice for use in mass combat.
Mass Combat - A simple system for mass combat resolution, using Mass Combat Units. Units battle similarly to standard combat between characters, with options included for combat between units, characters, and monsters.
Runes - Used for secret writing or to infuse objects with spells via Power Runes.
Artifacts - Ancient magical constructs created by the Immortals, with powers and dangers beyond that of normal magic items.
Dragon Riding - Mist Dragons are companion flying mounts, with their own abilities.
Immortality - Found a cult and gain enough followers to ascend as an Immortal.
