Tonight (09/20) at Gold Star park, there will be a dedication ceremony free and open to the public as the latest monument will be unveiled.

The POW/MIA monument dedication ceremony will begin at 6 PM with former POW Jessica Lynch as the keynote speaker.

On September 15, 1946 WMOA went on the air from a garage in Williamstown.

78 years later whether it's calling a Tigers win, broadcasting from the Washington County fair, playing tunes, and everything in between, it is an honor to serve the area.

It was a crazy night for football (or lack thereof) in Southeast Ohio. Marietta, Warren, and several others were postponed to Saturday. Wheeling Central scored first, but Fort Frye took over soon after and cruised to victory.

A great ceremony at Gold Star park this morning as the newest monument in the park was unveiled.

The Purple Heart Memorial monument now sits alongside the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument, Battlefield Cross Memorial Monument, and Silent Battle; Veterans PTSD and Su***de Awareness monument.

As you may have seen from our live video earlier this afternoon The Great Race awarded the City of Marietta with the "Best overnight Stop" for this year's Hemmings Motor News Great Race.

We spent the better part of "Race Day" downtown and certainly agree that The city and our Great Race Committee knocked it out of the park. A really nice piece of well deserved recognition.

UPDATE:
Our power at 925 Lancaster St. returned at about 12:15, and according to the AEP outage map, power should be restored to everyone in the area.

Power outage here on Harmar Hill about 1200 people are without power. Early estimates from AEP say they hope to have power back on by 2 PM this afternoon. We've contacted AEP to learn more and are waiting for a callback.

We're running on backup power, so our family of radio stations is still on the air and streaming online, so stay tuned for updates.

The Great Race has concluded for the year, but we still enjoy the memories. Thanks to everyone who helped make that big Sunday such a success. The city really showed up and showed out.
