I’ve been using AI to greatly speed up business processes, design, programming, and project management. Thinking about creating a paid webinar series to teach others how to do it, too.

What tasks take you the longest and waste a lot of your time?

For me, it is writing proposals/contracts, creating job descriptions, making sales presentations, taking and logging meeting notes, getting clues when I get stuck on programming tasks, mocking up ideas for interactive projects, etc.

I hire my talented friends to create final designs, content, and development for projects once sold, but the preplanning for winning projects and finding leads can be difficult to get paid for so speeding up that process has proven highly valuable.

Many people I know equate VR with gaming and kids. What MGM Resorts is doing to help empower adult job applicants is a great example of a real world application that not only helps increase employee retention by walking applicants through a day-in-the-life in a virtual environment, but also helps people see what they are getting into and helping them not waste time. Incorporating some gamification and fun can make it even better, if done properly.

Going a step further, they could repurpose this application tool and use it for actual training for positions at a much reduced cost than the initial investment. I’ve worked on several projects like this and they’ve gotten great responses.

Video training and e-Learning modules still have their uses and should still be incorporated, but VR/AR/Spatial experiences go much further when it comes to effectiveness and retention of the learning, since the users are actually performing tasks and engaging more senses, like movement, speaking, etc.

Has your company utilized any of the new techniques? If not, I’d be happy to do a 30-minute brainstorming session to help figure out how to increase employee retention and effectiveness, reduce costly errors, increase traffic and leads at trade show booths, help sales reps visualize products in customers’ spaces, and much more!
